ARE YOU READY FOR ADVENTURE?

We offer the perfect mix of Malaysian Fishing/Angling adventure, training and learning to make this the fishing holiday of your life...

ABOUT US

Hook, Line and Sinker was established in 1998 as a result of a fishing friendship between two well known Malaysian Anglers, Aziz Daud and Anthony Sullivan. Both Aziz and Anthony, who accompany virtually all groups personally, have a great wealth of knowledge on fishing in Malaysia. They have played host to a large number of angling journalists and film crews from around the world and many thousands of overseas anglers.

Predominantly found off Rompin, congregating in big schools. Widely distributed, Efforts to Tag and Release have begun amongst Sport Anglers.

OUR TESTIMONIALS

MALAYSIA AT A GLANCE

Land of Contrast

A kaleidoscope of colours and cultures, this is Malaysia. Vibrant and modern, while still retaining its old world charm, Malaysia offers the best of modernity and tradition. Its potpourri of ethnic groups and cultures truly reflects Asia in all its glory.

Malaysia, truly Asia, can be seen in its cultures, traditions, religions, languages, architecture and its polyglot population.

Harmony is a key word when looking at Malaysia. Mosques, Temples and Churches can be found in the same vicinity and the nations public holidays reflect the multiplicity of its population.

The current population stands at around 26 million with 83% living in the peninsula and 8% and 9% in Sabah and Sarawak respectively.

Location

Malaysia is divided into 2 distinct geographical entities by the South China Sea. Peninsular Malaysia is part of the Asian land mass while the states of Sabah and Sarawak are located on the north and north-western part of the Island of Borneo. The total land mass is 329, 758 sq km with the peninsula covering 131, 598 sq km.

Climate

Located between 1.5 and 7 degrees north if the equator, Malaysia enjoys a tropical climate. It is warm and humid throughout the year, with balmy evenings and temperatures range from 21 to 34 degrees Celsius with an average humidity level of 80%.

Entry Requirements

Visitors to Malaysia must be in possession of a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six months beyond the intended visiting period. Most nationalities do not require visas for social or business purposes. For further information please check with the nearest Malaysian diplomatic mission or Tourism Malaysia office.
